Once upon a time, lived an ugly Crocs who was made of tapes with pieces of glass hanging within her. She had never stepped out of her humble hut as she was lacking in confidence. So the FairyCrocsMother decided to grant the poor Crocs a wish. "I want to be beautiful" she said. But the FairyCrocsMother replied, "You already are beautiful, dear". Confused, she was then led to step outside the hut and exposed to the sunlight. To her surprise, the glass reflected myriad of colors. A visiting CrocsCharming was captured by her glittery beauty and fell in love with her. And so they lived, happily ever after

At times, we gain something out of others' misfortune. This works deals with this concept in mind and at the same time, reflecting on the riot incident in Indonesia during 1998. It was a tragedy for many but for myself, it changed me for the better in such a way that i moved to Malaysia and gained further education which led to my studies in Singapore. I gained something, out of others' tragic experiences. I feel like an epiphyte
